This cottage studio is for 2 people. The bed configuration is twin hotel beds (put together or separate).

The cottage was deemed fireproof by the fire brigade and has smoke detectors.

Prohibited to use waste wood for the open fire!

Neighbourhood

The cottage is located in the rural village of Laarne, on an old meander of the Scheldt river, north-east of Ghent. Both historically (castle) and for the nature lover (Damvallei, Kalkense Meersen - the area belongs to the Sigmaplan with controlled flooding) there is much to offer.

Beautiful bicycle and walking paths. Avid geocachers will be surprised!

Cosy restaurants in all price ranges in our village. Also take away. Nearby Ghent is known as the culinary capital of Europe.

Our cottages are easily and quickly accessible by car, via the E40 and E17 motorways. From here, you can visit Flanders in a few days (Bruges, Antwerp, Brussels within 1/2 hour highway). By bicycle, it is half an hour to the historical city centre of Ghent, with the most beautiful cycling route via the Scheldt river.

by bus : towards Ghent : Bus line 36 Zele - Ghent - Latem - De Pinte/St-Martens-Leerne.  From Ghent : Bus 36 St-Martens-Leerne/De Pinte - Latem - Gent - Zele
